Census Bureau: 77.4% of people in Chester County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 32,273 citizens living in Chester County in 2021, 77.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 24,972 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 11,845 were male, constituting 47.4%, and 13,127 were female, making up 52.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Chester County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.1%.
